Mechanic: Paul Stacey
Bus Shop Phone: 636-9925 Students should remember that riding a school
bus is a privilege, and buses are school property. The same rules and
regulations that guide student conduct in the classroom apply on the buses as
well. In order to insure safety of all students, the rules listed below
must be followed by students riding school buses:
-
Obey the driver's instructions and be
courteous at all times.
-
Remain seated until the bus stops.
-
Sit three to a seat, if necessary, to
eliminate standing.
-
Keep all parts of the body inside the bus.
-
Do not throw anything inside the bus or
out of the bus windows.
-
Keep noise to a minimum.
-
Pushing, shoving, or wrestling are not allowed
and may result in the suspension of bus riding privileges.
-
No food or drinks may be taken on a bus
without permission of the bus driver.
-
Any article that may hinder the bus
driver's vision is not allowed.
-
Board and leave the bus only at an
approved stop.
-
Do not attempt to talk to the bus driver
while the bus is in motion.
-
Do not get off the bus at any time from
the point of departure until you reach your destination, except in cases of
emergency and upon notification of the bus driver by written note, signed by
the student's parent(s) or guardian(s) and the school principal or
transportation supervisor. Violations will be reported promptly to the
local principal by the driver.
-
Exercise proper care and treatment of the
bus and bus equipment at all times. Abuse and damage to the bus must
be paid for by the student or his/her parent or guardian.
A STUDENT'S TRANSPORTATION PRIVILEGE CAN BE
SUSPENDED, DUE TO MISCONDUCT OR MISBEHAVIOR WHILE ENROUTE TO AND FROM SCHOOL.
