Welcome, Coach Butts!

My name is David Butts. I am a 32 year old
male who was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating high
school, I earned a basketball scholarship to Gadsden State Community College. I
played 2 years at GSCC and was fortunate to earn another basketball scholarship
to Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama. While at Faulkner I met my wife,
Scarlett. We were married soon after graduation. I earned a BS in Education. I
have since earned my Masters in Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Scarlett and I are currently living in
Camden, Alabama. We have two sons, Nicholas who just turned 7 and Nathan who
just turned 5. Camden is a great place to raise your kids. We go to the river,
hunt and fish. We are also involved in our church. We attend Camden United
Methodist Church. My wife stays at home to raise the boys and also has an
internet business.

I have been teaching Physical Education for
the past nine years in five different school systems.
