How to check on your child's progress in an ACCESS class.
- Have your child log in to the class at home. Then stand and
look over their shoulder while they do the rest of these.
- Check the NEWS page for the assignments and due dates.
- Go to the black line and click on the word DROPBOX. If your
child has turned the assignment in, it will show it in the DROPBOX under
SUBMISSIONS.
- To check your child's grade on a quiz, go to the black line
and click on the word QUIZZES. All the quizzes your child has taken will be
listed there, as well as the grade and any comments from the teachers.
- To see all of your child's grades in a class, go to the
black line and click on the word GRADES. Every grade your child has made will
be listed there, usually their average is there also.
- To see how much time your child has spent in the class, go
to the black line and click on CLASSLIST, find their name and look all the way
to the right of the name until you see a circle of blue dots. Click on the blue
dots and it will bring up a screen which shows you how much time your child
spent reading the directions on each assignment. It will also show you the time
that has been spent on other parts of the ACCESS class.
