Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

What is FBLA?

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a national organization for all students currently enrolled in at least one business class in high school. The local student organization operates as an integral part of school business program under the guidance of business teachers and school administrators. Local and state chapters of FBLA operate under charters granted by FBLA/PBI, Incorporated. Each chapter, with its own constitution, adopts projects and programs within the framework of the national organization. The FBLA plan of organization includes local high school chapters, middle level chapters, state chapters, and the FBLA National Organization. The activities of the Future Business Leaders of America provide an opportunity for business students to prepare for business occupations. Members of FBLA learn how to engage in individual and group business enterprises. One of the major objectives of FBLA is to develop self-confidence and strong, aggressive business leadership so that these future businesspersons may participate more effectively in the business and community life of which they are soon to be an integral part.
