2009-2010 THS Drama Team

CLUB MEMBER PURPOSE

To participate in district and state drama competitions and festivals.

CLUB MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

1. Each drama team member must be self-motivated and hard working.

2. When a school absence due to a drama team activity, all make up work must be done

in a timely manner and the student must have a passing grade. If a drama team member does

not pass a make-up exam and the teacher feels that it is because of missing the regular

exam, that member will not be allowed to participate in the next club function.

4. Each club member must pay all fees associated with the competitions. This money is used to pay dues

to drama organizations and to purchase play materials.

5. Each drama team member must participate in drama team fundraisers.

6. All school rules must be obeyed at all times. If school rules are broken, the member

will be removed from the drama team or will be suspended depending on the severity of the

offense.

7. After school and evening practices are necessary to prepare for school plays and

competitions. Students will be expected to attend if they are participating in either a play or competition

CLUB PROJECTS

1. To participate in the Trumbauer District V Competition

2. To participate in the State Trumbauer Competition.

3. To participate in the Thespian Festival.

4. To participate in school plays in some capacity: acting, directing, technical, working the house, publicity, etc.
