TCS Robotics Team Receives GP Donation

Chris Hughes, public affairs manager with the Georgia Pacific Naheola Pulp and Paper Mill in Pennington, presented both the Thomasville High School robotics team and the middle school robotics team with checks for $2,000. The ceremony was held Aug. 8 in the THS library. 
Georgia Pacific has been a long time supporter of robotics teams in the Thomasville school system as well as the RiverBEST regional robotics competition.

Both teams will compete at this year's RiverBEST in Thomasville, and the competition will begin Sept. 8 in the THS gym with the reveal of the 2018 game.
