Ferguson to Return as THS Principal

     Kyle R. Ferguson will return as principal of Thomasville High School. He was approved April 23 as the new principal by the Thomasville City Board of Education at its meeting in the Thomasville High School library. His new contract will run from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2022.
     Ferguson has served as principal of Northridge High School in the Tuscaloosa City Schools District since July 2014. He served as principal of Thomasville High School from July 2007 to June 2014 and served as principal of Escambia County High School from 2005 to 2007.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo. and his Master of Education degree in Specific learning Disabilities from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Ferguson also earned a certification in School Administration and Supervision from Alabama State University in Montgomery.
"We are excited to have Kyle Ferguson returning to the Thomasville family as the new Principal of Thomasville High," said Garth Moss, superintendent of the Thomasville City Schools District. "He brings a proven track record of success as an instructional leader. He is a strong disciplinarian that also brings a genuine desire to see all of his students graduate and be successful."
