I am a native of Thomasville, AL. My parents are Reginald Allen and the late Coilet Smiley Allen Garrett. My grandparents are Henry and Esmeraldo Smiley. I am married to Mrs. Bridgett Nicole Allen and we have one daughter, Raven-Rose Coilet Allen, who is four years old and entering her first year at Thomasville Elementary School. We are proud to announce that we are expecting another child in December 2020 and we also own an american staffordshire terrier mixed with an american blue nose pitbull terrier named Caesar, who is 5 years old. This is my sixteenth year in education and my most recent position was serving as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Thomasville High School. As a classroom teacher, I taught the courses within the career tech cluster of Business Administration/Marketing Education. I served as a teacher and a coach for twelve years in the public system and the other three years I served in the private sector. I have had the opportunity to serve in Montgomery (St Jude Educational Institute), Birmingham (Leeds High School), Wilcox County High School, Demopolis High School, Clarke County High School and now the Principal at Thomasville Middle School. Those unique experiences allowed tremendous growth and I am ready to give back to my community.   I have also coached volleyball, track and field, baseball, football and girls’ and boys’ basketball. I am so excited to be a part of my alma mater and ready to lead with Love, Compassion, Consistency and whatever it takes to move our school forward.
