THS student tests positive for COVID; teachers, other students quarantined

Update from Kyle Ferguson, THS principal 10-12-2020:
I’m reaching out to update you on COVID-related events that will impact THS, beginning today. Please be informed of the following current circumstances:
• We have one student who has tested positive over the weekend as a result of close contact with positive family members.
• As a result of contact tracing, four additional students will be quarantined due to closed contact with the positive student (within 6-feet for 15 minutes)
• Two THS teachers are being quarantined due to close contact with someone outside of school who tested positive over the weekend.
Please be reassured that we are taking every precaution to mitigate the impact/spread of COVID at THS. Please continue to encourage your student to take all precautions seriously in order to insure that we can continue to enjoy in-person learning with minimal risk.
Our incredibly low infection rate is a direct result of everyone being committed to taking personal responsibility to follow the CDC’s recommendations to fidelity. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
