Important safety update from Garth Moss, Thomasville School superintendent 1-21-2021

IMPORTANT SAFETY UPDATE from Garth Moss, Thomasville School Superintendent:
Good Afternoon Tiger Family,
We are continuing to see an increased number of our students testing positive for COVID and an even larger number of students being required to quarantine for close contact. As we try to keep everyone as safe as possible at school we continue to have children sent to school who have been exposed to COVID at home.
In order for us to keep the doors open to our in person
students, everyone must be truthful and follow the rules.
If your child is exposed at home or away from school to COVID, do not send them to school until the 14-day window is over. Contact the school to let them know your child's status.
If your child has tested positive for COVID please contact the school to let them know so the school nurse can do contact tracing.
If your child is showing any of the major symptoms do not send them to school until they have received a negative test or they are symptom free.
Everyone must do their part. For someone to needlessly expose others to COVID is not acceptable.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Garth Moss
