The 26-27 school year calendar was approved March 24 by the Thomasville City Board of Education.

Spring Break in the Thomasville City Schools District will be held March 30 to April 3.

The Thomasville City Schools District is seeking student, parents, and community volunteers to serve on the school district’s wellness policy committee. The purpose of committee is to review policy compliance, assess progress, and determine need of improvement to its nutrition and physical activity policy provision of an environment that supports healthy eating and physical activity; and nutrition and physical education policy and program elements. The district wellness committee meets annually.

Through the Alabama SUN Bucks program, eligible school-age children will receive a one-time grocery benefit this summer. Families will receive a SUN Bucks card with the funds pre-loaded and ready to use for groceries.
These cards will be mailed to the address on file with the student’s school. If a student has moved or their address has changed, please make sure the school has the correct address.
• Address information must be updated before March 2, 2026, for families to receive their SUN Bucks card.
• Please encourage families who have had a change of address to contact their student’s school to update their information in PowerSchool.
