Thomasville City Schools will be open tomorrow, Jan. 10. However, we will not be taking attendance due to possible weather conditions. Students will not be marked absent unexcused.
Students at Thomasville Elementary School have been recognized as the top sellers in the recent Believe Kids Cookie fundraiser. Each student received a gift card. Thomasville Elementary School has received a $1,000 Classroom Grant from the Alabama Power Foundation for a science lab at the school. Any TES student, who has perfect attendance during January 2025, will be treated with an afternoon of Cookies and Hot Choclate on Jan. 31.
Students in the Thomasville City Schools District will return to class on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025.
THS Basketball Camp set for Jan. 11.
There will be no classes in the Thomasville City Schools District from Dec. 18 to Jan. 3, 2025. Students will return from Christmas/Winter Break on Jan. 6.
Students will be released early in the Thomasville City Schools District on Friday, Dec. 13, Monday, Dec. 16 and Tuesday, Dec. 17: 11:45 a.m. at TES; noon at TMS/THS. Buses will run regular routes.

TES Beauty Review 24-25, 6 p.m. on Feb. 8 in the Thomasville Civic Center. The application fee is $25, and applications will be made available to students after we return from Christmas break in January.

The Thomasville City Schools District is seeking substitute school bus drivers.
There will be an E-Learning Day on Tuesday, Nov. 26 with no in-school classes. There will also be no classes on Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Nov. 29 for the Thanksgiving holidays.
