The 2024 Thomasville Elementary School Beauty Review was held March 1 in the Thomasville Civic Center. Winners in the Pre-K/Kindergarten Division: Ivory Onco, Third Runner-up; Madelyn Williams, First Runner-up; Emma Claire Jackson, Top Beauty; Ella Grace Mason, Fourth Runner-up; and July Renner, Second Runner-up.
The Pre-K program at Thomasville Elementary School will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday, March 27. Pre-K students are allowed to dress out in Spring attire.
Pre-K students will be dismissed early at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15 at Thomasville Elementary School. This is to allow them to attend Kindergarten registration. Also on this date, Pre-K are wearing green for St. Patrick's Day.
ATTENTION: Parents will have one more opportunity to come and register their child for the Pre-K program, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at Thomasville Elementary School.
Parents will need to bring a social security card, birth certificate, and two proofs of residency.
TES Pre-K presents "Dad and Me Build a Birdhouse Workshop" on Tuesday, March 19. More info coming.
The Thomasville City Board of Education approved Feb. 27 the school system calendar for the 2024-2025 school year.
School calendar update: There will be no E-Learning Days on March 28 and April 26. There will be regular classes on those dates.
The Thomasville City Schools District Wellness Committee on Physical Activity and Nutrition will meet at 1:30 p.m. on March 12 at Thomasville High School. Members of the Thomasville community are invited.
The THS Beauty Review will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 in the Thomasville Civic Center. In addition, the TES Beauty Review will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 1 in the Civic Center.
Admission for both events is $10, and tickets are available at the Civic Center Box Office.

There will be no classes in the Thomasville City Schools District on Monday, Feb. 19 in observance of Presidents' Day. There will also be an E-Learning Day on Tuesday, Feb. 20 (no in-school classes).
