ATTENTION TES PARENTS: due to early release day on Wednesday, Oct. 27 (12:15 p.m.), we will not have after school tutoring.

Thanks for supporting the Thomasville Elementary School PTO! Please turn in orders to the TES, TMS, or THS Office. Extra order forms can be found in the offices also. The color of the shirt is maroon. A few extra will be ordered in each size, but please encourage students/parents/teachers to return orders by Friday, Nov. 5 so that the shirts can come in before Thanksgiving. These shirts are approved to be worn at all three schools! Thanks again for your help!

The next meeting of the Thomasville City Board of Education will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26 in the Thomasville High School Library. NOTE: there will also be a 5 p.m. work session. Both the work session and the regular board meeting will be live streamed on the "Thomasville Tiger Nation" Facebook page.

Friday, Oct. 29 is Bill Miller School Day Pictures at TES. Students must wear school uniforms for these pictures. NO Jeans.

There will be no classes Monday, Oct. 18 for students and employees in the Thomasville City Schools District.

TES Continues To Grow! We want to welcome a new student, Fabian Alamilla and his family to Thomasville. Fabian is pictured with his Kindergarten classmates. Also, we want to thank Saylor Hall for being a Good Friend and helping Fabian find his new classroom this morning.

ATTENTION: students that are under the age of 13 attending football games need to be accompanied by an adult, parent or guardian. For safety reasons, ALL students should be seated or standing in the stands and not running around the facility walkways and stairs.

Thomasville Elementary School would like to welcome Jack Lewis to Third Grade. Pictured with Jack are his classmates and also one of our Peer Helpers, Chris Snow. Chris welcomed Jack this morning and made sure he knew how to find his class. TES welcomes Jack and family to Thomasville!

Thomasville Elementary School would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Charleston Wrap Fundraiser! We are very appreciative of the support. Parents Day will be held Oct. 19 at Thomasville Elementary School. Teachers will set up appointments with parents.

A Community THS Pep Rally will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7 at the old football field behind the Thomasville Civic Center. Homecoming Court will be presented, and the Homecoming King will be crowned. There will also be a bonfire.

Students may receive the flu vaccine at school on Monday, Oct. 4. The deadline to turn in consent forms has been extended to this Oct. 1.

Important update on Morning Traffic / Drop Off at TES.

Attention TES parents! All communications are down within the TES building. This will slow down our dismissal process for today, Sept. 7. Please be patient and help us keep everyone safe today.

The Thomasville City Schools District is currently experiencing Internet problems, which also affects our phones. Please be patient with our teachers and administration today as they may not be able to communicate as efficiently without Internet service.

Happy Labor Day from the Thomasville City Schools District! No classes today! In person instruction returns to all campuses on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

The flu vaccine clinic for all students (except PEEHIP dependents) will be Monday, Oct. 4, 2021. PEEHIP dependent students will be able to receive their flu vaccine on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021. Permission forms will be sent home with students next week - to be returned by Sept. 24, 2021.

9-3-2021 Thomasville City Schools Parents, With an increase in the Covid cases, we are exploring the possibility of offering a virtual school option through a private company for interested parents. This option would use the company's teachers to instruct your child. If you choose this option your child would be locked into the virtual option for a full semester. ATTENTION: Since the Thomasville City Schools was closed on Aug. 30 due to Hurricane Ida it is important that all Summer P-EBT eligible households submit their application online. Weather and power conditions permitting, all online applications submitted over the weekend will be processed by close of business today, Aug. 31, 2021.
