April Bouler

April Bouler has been appointed the new Principal of Thomasville High School. A proud graduate of Thomasville High, Bouler brings over 21 years of experience within Thomasville City Schools, where she currently serves as Assistant Principal.

Throughout her career, Bouler has held a range of instructional and leadership positions, dedicating her entire professional journey to the district. She has taught kindergarten, first grade, and sixth grade—roles she credits with deepening her understanding of student growth and effective teaching strategies. Bouler has also contributed as both a math coach and instructional coach, helping to support teachers and enhance academic achievement across the district.

Bouler holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Master’s and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Instructional Leadership, all from the University of West Alabama.

Her leadership style is described as student-centered and relationship-focused, emphasizing collaboration, ongoing improvement, and academic excellence. Bouler also notes that her faith in God is central to her leadership, guiding her decisions and dedication to serving others.

Beyond her professional role, Bouler enjoys time with her husband, Kendrick, and their son, Aydin. She credits her family and close friends for their significant impact on her life, saying, “They continue to push me to my fullest potential.”

As she steps into her new role, Bouler remains committed to strengthening instruction, supporting educators, and ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed both academically and personally.
