National School Lunch Hero Day 2026 is Friday, May 1, 2026. Celebrated annually on the first Friday in May, this day honors school nutrition professionals for their dedication to nourishing students, supporting learning, and ensuring healthy meals, often celebrated with special, personalized school-wide recognition.

Any sixth or seventh grade boy interested in trying out for TMS basketball should attend tryouts from 3:15 to 5 p.m. on April 28 in the middle school gym. Students must have an updated physical form.
The 25-26 TMS Sports Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. on May 5 in the Thomasville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Admission for parents is $15.

The THS Lady Tigers Junior Varsity softball team won 8-5 April 15 at Sweet Water. The team finished the season with a 17-0 record.
The THS JV and varsity softball team will travel today, April 15, to play at Sweet Water High School. The varsity will play first at 1 p.m.
