🥎THS SOFTBALL TRYOUTS 🥎 Softball tryouts for grades 6-11 will be this Wednesday, May 20, from 3:30-5:30 at Jan Overstreet Field. Each player should wear any Thomasville shirt, softball pants, and have cleats, tennis shoes, and a glove. Please arrive as soon as possible to fill out paperwork. TRYOUTS ARE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. No one should be at the field or in the parking lot during tryouts. Please sign up in the TMS and THS main offices.

The Wellness Committee of the Thomasville City Schools District will hold a meeting at 9 a.m. on May 14 in Thomasville High School's conference room. The purpose of the meeting is to assess and review the wellness policy for physical activity and nutrition. Parents, students and members of the Thomasville community are encouraged to attend. ATTENTION: classes are being dismissed today, May 6 at 2 PM in the Thomasville City Schools District. There will be no afterschool activities today.

The TMS Sports Banquet is tonight, May 5, at 6 p.m. in the Thomasville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Admission for athletes is free; admission for everyone else is $15.

National School Lunch Hero Day 2026 is Friday, May 1, 2026. Celebrated annually on the first Friday in May, this day honors school nutrition professionals for their dedication to nourishing students, supporting learning, and ensuring healthy meals, often celebrated with special, personalized school-wide recognition.
