FREE Vaccination Clinic planned May 2 for TMS/THS
All students entering sixth grade will require a dose of Tdap (tetanus-diphtheria toxoid & acellular pertussis) vaccine.
HNH Immunizations Inc. is offering a FREE vaccination clinic at Thomasville Middle School on Monday, May 2, 2022. Consent forms are being sent home with all fifth grade students as well as those in upper grades who have not had the Tdap vaccine. They are also offering the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) and Meningococcal vaccines for anyone grades 5-12. You can request a consent form by contacting the school nurse.
Please complete the consent form and return to the school by Wednesday, April 27, 2022, if you would like for your child to participate. Contact Nurse Thompson if you have any questions.
There will be a combined TMS/THS PTO meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 18 in the THS library.
ATTENTION: the Junior Varsity Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, April 9 at Sweet Water High School, has been cancelled.

There will be in-person classes on Wednesday, April 6 in the Thomasville City Schools District.
"Mom Prom" Mother and Son Dance has been rescheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 16 in the THS gym.
TMS Spring Pictures will be taken on April 6, 2022.
Students may dress out in School Appropriate spring attire for pictures.
The TMS baseball team beat Sweet Water 9-3 April 4 at the THS ball field (second game).

The Leroy at TMS baseball game, scheduled for Tuesday, April 5, has been cancelled due to the threat of severe weather.
The TMS PTSO meeting is rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. on April 11 in the school cafeteria.
Due to the threat of severe weather, Tuesday, April 5 will be a "Virtual Day" in the Thomasville City Schools District. There will be no in-person instruction and no extracurricular activities. Laptop computers or paper schoolwork will be available for lower grades.

Spring Break in the Thomasville City Schools District will be held March 28 to April 1.
Classes will be held in the Thomasville City Schools District on Friday, April 15 (Good Friday).
ATTENTION - baseball schedule changes:
• the THS JV baseball home game with Jackson on Friday, March 25 will begin at 4 p.m.
• TMS baseball will host Sweet Water for a 4 p.m. doubleheader on April 4 at the THS ball field.
• TMS baseball will host Leroy for one game at 5 p.m. on April 5 at the THS ball field.
ATTENTION - WEATHER UPDATE: due to the threat of severe weather, schools in the Thomasville City Schools District will close early today, March 22. Students will be let out at 12:15 p.m. at Thomasville Elementary School and 12:30 p.m. at Thomasville Middle School and Thomasville High School. School buses will run regular routes.
ATTENTION: a full day of school is planned for Tuesday, March 22 in the Thomasville City Schools District. However, school officials will continue to monitor the weather forecast.
All extracurricular events for Tuesday will be cancelled. That includes THS softball and TMS baseball. However, the school board meeting will still be held at 5 p.m. in the THS library.
Spring Break in the Thomasville City Schools District will be held March 28 to April 1.
The Thomasville Middle School Tigers baseball team will host the TMS Invitational Tournament Saturday, March 26 at the Thomasville High School ball field.
10 a.m. - TMS vs. Demopolis Middle School;
noon - St. Paul's vs. DMS;
2 p.m. - St. Paul's vs. Brewton Middle School;
4 p.m. - DMS vs. BMS;
6 p.m. - TMS vs. St. Paul's;
8 p.m. - TMS vs. BMS.
There will be a one hour-and-a half time limit for each game.
