Thomasville Middle School

A group of thirty-five Accelerated Reader top-achievers for the first semester were treated to Top Golf today in Mobile. Library staff and school administrators work hard to provide reading incentives for students. Thank you for buying ferns, supporting book fairs, and donating to the TMS library each year.

"Students of the Month" for December 2025 have been chosen at Thomasville Middle School: Joy Mbugua and Abbigail Autrey, Fifth Grade; Kinsley Adams and Umari Rush, Sixth Grade; Cameron Holt and Aly Minter, Seventh Grade; and Ashlyn Rowden and Conner Elam, Eighth Grade. There will be no classes on Monday, Jan. 19 in the Thomasville City Schools District in recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The THS Tigers wrestling team will participate Saturday, Jan. 10 in the PCA Invitational at Prattville Christian Academy (322 Old Farm Lane North, Prattville 36066). The event begins at 9 a.m.

🚨 SOFTBALL BOOSTER CLUB MEETING 🚨
There will be a booster club meeting Thursday, Jan. 8 at 6:30 in the THS library. The main topic will be selling our outfield signs. Please come out and support the Tigers!!

The THS Tigers wrestling team will travel Friday, Jan. 9 for an in-school event at J.U. Blacksher High School in Uriah, Ala. Weigh in is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Cash will be accepted at the door.

The THS Tigers wrestling team will travel today, Jan. 5, to Oak Grove High School (9494 Oak Grove Pkwy) in Bessemer for Region Championship Duals. Weigh in at 11 a.m. Event starts at 1 p.m.

The THS Tigers wrestling team will travel Jan. 2 and 3 to Vancleave High School, 12424 Highway 57, in Mississippi for the "Bulldog Brawl." Weigh in at 3 p.m. on Friday.

2026 Thomasville Tiger Middle School/Jr. High baseball schedule

Dec. 18 is Professional Development Day for employees in the Thomasville City Schools District (no classes for students). Christmasholidays begin Dec. 19. Students return to class on Jan. 7, 2026.

There will be early release in the Thomasville City Schools District on Monday, Dec. 15 through Wednesday, Dec. 17: 11:45 a.m. at TES; and noon at TMS/THS.

The Thomasville City Schools Band Christmas Concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11 in the Thomasville Civic Center. Admission is $5. The Fifth Grade Beginning Band, Sixth Grade Intermediate Band and the THS Band will perform.
