Dena LeNoir, director of the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Alabama, brought over goody bags March 17 for students in second through fourth grade at Thomasville Elementary School. The goody bags are to encourage the students to do well on the ACAP reading tests on March 21 and 22. LeNoir was helped by members of the TES "Heavy Lifters" group: Ben Loftin and MarKevian Kimbrough (back); and Jacob Garza, Kambryan Rodriguez and Cameron Lucy. ACAP (Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program) is an online assessment designed to provide students, parents, teachers, administrators, and Alabama residents with information regarding student progress toward mastery of the Alabama Course of Study Standards.
