Your first chance to see the 2025 halftime show from the Thomasville High School Mighty Tiger Marching Band will be Aug. 22 when the THS Tigers varsity football team will host Leroy to begin the regular season.

The annual "Meet the Tigers" event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8 at D.F. Anderson Field. The event will introduce the Thomasville High School varsity football team, the THS and middle school cheerleaders, the THS Mighty Tiger Marching Band, and the THS varsity, junior varsity and middle school volleyball teams.
The public can take photos on the field from 5 to 5:25 p.m. The football team will have a scrimmage after the introduction portion of the program.

McKinley Sims, a rising sixth grade student at Thomasville Middle School, performed June 28 at the Flying Bricks Community Band Independence Day concert in the Thomasville Civic Center. She performed two songs from "Matilda, The Musical," which will be presented July 25-28, also in the Civic Center. Tickets for "Matilda" are now on sale.
