The THS Lady Tigers volleyball team will host the Class 3A, Area 4 Tournament today, Oct. 12, in the THS gym. The tournament begins at 1 p.m. with THS vs. Monroe County.

There will be a basketball parent meeting today, Oct. 11, at 6:15 p.m., following the conclusion of Parenting Day, in the THS cafeteria. This includes varsity, JV, and middle school girls and boys teams.

The THS Tigers football team travels Oct. 14 to East Brewton to play region opponent, the W.S. Neal High School Eagles, in East Brewton.


THS soccer tryouts: 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 17-19 at the Earl Tucker Memorial Field across from TMS campus. Students must have updated physical evaluation form to try out. No exceptions!
Everyone must have cleats, shin guards and a water bottle.

There will be a FAFSA Night (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for parents of Thomasville High seniors from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17 in the school library.

The Special Education program will host a presentation for parents on Oct. 11 (Parenting Day) from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Thomasville Elementary School library. Special Education personnel will be present as well as a Vocational Rehabilitation representative that supports transition services for high school students.

The THS Tigers varsity football team lost 21-20 Oct. 7 at Excel High School.

The Thomasville High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) has elected officers for the 2022-2023 school year. President is Morgan Blackmon, Vice President is Marli Davis, Secretary is Asraa Yahya, Treasurer is Alaina Bohannon, and Reporter is Luke Stephens. These students will spearhead community based projects during the school year such as Toys for Tots, Blue Jeans for Babies, and more. All FBLA members are excited about this year, and are looking forward to their upcoming events.


There will be a $2 dress out on Thursday, Oct. 13 to benefit the Alabama 4H's Legacy Endowment.

ATTENTION: The THS JV football game, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 10, at Jackson High School, has been cancelled. The TMS football team will still play Monday at Jackson.
