The THS Tigers varsity baseball team beat McKenzie 14-2 April 17 at Donnie Fendley Field.
Harley Holloway and Kirstin Marshall, juniors at Thomasville High School, will represent the school at Girls State May 31-June 5 at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Jaimyin Jones, a senior at Thomasville High School, is the first ever to finish the Cosmetology Dual Enrollment program while completing high school at the same time. "This is a major accomplishment for our Cosmetology program and for Jaimyin," said Lyn Smith, an instructor on the Thomasville campus of Coastal Alabama Community College.
Stevie Grace Collins, a graduate of Thomasville High School, was recognized April 14 at the Honors and Awards Program at the Thomasville campus of Coastal Alabama Community College. She has named to the All-Alabama Academic Team and selected as a Coca-Cola Scholar.

The ninth and 10th grade Educational Talent Search students toured the University of South Alabama on April 15. The students were provided an admissions presentation. They were also able to view a residence hall room, visit the rec center, and have lunch in the dining hall.
