Holden Stacey, Charlie Nordan and Isabella Griffin have received engineering scholarships from the Packaging Corporation of America Mill in Jackson. The scholarships include full tuition.
A ceremony was held May 8 at the mill, and the students were joined by family members and officials and staff of the PCA Mill.
Stacey is a senior at Excel High School; Nordan is a senior at Thomasville High School; and Isabella Griffin is a T.R. Miller graduate, who will soon graduate from Coastal Alabama Community College.

The THS Lady Tigers varsity softball team beat Dallas County 24-0 May 4 to win the Class 3A, Area 4 Tournament Championship at Jan Overstreet Field.
The Technology Department is looking for 2 THS student interns to work with Coach Ryan Anderson this summer. Responsibilities would include: assisting with setup of classroom computers and other devices; troubleshooting tech issues with printers, smartboards and other devices; assisting with software installs and updates; inventory; and basic support during school events that requite tech set-up. You must be currently enrolled at THS in grades 9 - 12, have good attendance, a positive behavior record, and an interest in technology.
