The THS varsity baseball team lost 13-3 to Trinity May 11 in the second game of the fourth round of the Class 3A playoffs at the THS ball field.

The THS varsity softball team beat Hale County 11-10 May 11 at the Central Regionals in Montgomery. THS was down 10-2 in the seventh inning and came all the way back to win.

The Thomasville High School Lady Tigers softball team beat Excel High in two games on May 4 to claim the Class 3A, Area 5 championship at Jan Overstreet Field. The team will advance to the regional tournament May 10 and 11 in Lagoon Park in Montgomery.

The THS varsity baseball team will travel next to play in the third round of the state playoffs May 6 at Bayside Academy in Daphne. The baseball field is in a different location than the school at 8850 County Road 64, Daphne, Ala. 36526. Game times are 4:30 and 7 p.m. on Friday. There will be a 2 p.m. game, if necessary, on Saturday, May 7.
