Imani Brothers was crowned Thomasville High School Homecoming Queen 2025 Oct. 17 during a halftime ceremony at D.F. Anderson Field. She was crowned by Eddie Armstead Jr., THS Principal, as her father Juan Brothers looked on.

The THS Tigers varsity football team beat Dallas County 51-6 Oct. 17 at D.F. Anderson Field.

The Thomasville High School Tigers varsity football team (3-4) will next host region opponent, the Dallas County High Hornets (2-5), in the Homecoming game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17 at D.F. Anderson Field. Homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime.

"Parenting Day" will be held Oct. 20 in the Thomasville City Schools District. No classes will be held Monday. Teachers are available for parenting conferences during the following times: TES: 1 to 6 p.m.; THS: 1 to 5:30 p.m.; and TMS: 1 to 6 p.m.

The community Homecoming Pep Rally and Bonfire will be held tonight, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. on the front lawn of Thomasville High School.

The THS Lady Tigers volleyball team defeated Southside Selma Oct. 16 to win the Class 3A, Area 4 championship in the THS gym: 25-10, 25-4 and 25-5.

The THS Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team will host the area tournament on Thursday, Oct. 16 in the THS gym.
Wilcox Central and Southside Selma will play at 10 a.m., and the winner of that game will play THS for the area title.

Students in the Thomasville City Schools District will be released early on Friday, Oct. 17 (11:45 a.m. at TES; noon at TMS/THS) to attend the school system Homecoming Parade at 1:30 p.m. in downtown Thomasville.
