The THS varsity softball team lost 13-3 to Providence Christian May 10 at the South Regional Tournament in Gulf Shores. Season ends for the Lady Tigers. Great season for THS softball!

Maize Lolley, a ninth grade student at Thomasville High School, has been selected as the Troy University Regional ACCESS Student of the Year for District 7 (which includes 27 counties). Maize was nominated by Tammy Brasell, THS Counselor, who spoke towards the high academic achievement the student has maintained - all the while facing his personal health challenges. The Troy staff confirmed through his ACCESS instructors that he always displayed an exceptional attitude and work ethic. The Thomasville High School chapter of HOSA (Future Health Professionals) has received a $500 donation from Lifesouth Community Blood Centers. The HOSA chapter recently sponsored a successful Lifesouth blood drive.
