The THS varsity softball team beat Washington County 11-1 April 29 at the Millry High Invitational.
The 2024 Clarke County Distinguished Young Woman program will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 in the Thomasville Civic Center. Tickets are $10 each and will be available at the door.
Two students from Thomasville High School will compete:
• Caniya Burroughs will be dancing for her talent. Her little sister is India Alise Ward.
• Maura Kate Morris will be performing a monologue for her talent. Her little sister is Anna Kate Jones.

Scoliosis Screening
The Alabama State Department of Education and the Alabama Department of Public Health requires that school districts in Alabama OFFER and provide scoliosis screening for male and female students in grades 5-9 annually.
This screening will be held between May 9 and May 18, 2023. Please return the forms by May 5, 2023. The forms will be sent home this week to all 5th-9th grade students. If you have any questions, contact Candy Thompson, RN, Lead Nurse, at 334-636-4928.
