Thomasville City Schools has released a budget statement for American Rescue Plan funding (ESSER-3).
On Thursday, March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act was signed into law. It made available $122 billion for the ARP Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund. State educational agencies and school districts must use these funds to sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the students. The Alabama State Department of Education requires each school district to make their approved application available to the public through their website.
