The next meeting of the Thomasville City Board of Education will be held today, Aug. 26, at 5 p.m. in the Thomasville High School Library. The meeting will feature the first of two hearings for the Fiscal 2026 budget.
NOTE: There will also be a work session at 4 p.m.
The public is invited.

The THS Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team lost Aug. 25 at Washington County in Chatom: 16-25, 21-25 and 22-25.

The TMS Lady Tigers volleyball team lost Aug. 25 at Washington County in Chatom: 16-25 and 9-25.

The Thomasville Middle School and Thomasville High School junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams will travel today, Aug. 25 to Chatom to play Washington County. The TMS game starts at 3:30 p.m.

HNH Immunizations Inc. is holding a Flu Vaccine Clinic at all schools in the Thomasville City Schools district on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025. Consent forms are being sent home. Please complete the form and return to the school if you wish for your student to be vaccinated against influenza. This is voluntary and your student will not be vaccinated without the consent form. Thomasville will travel Friday, Aug. 29 for a 7 p.m. game at Sweet Water.

The THS Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team lost to W.S. Neal Aug. 23 in the “Battle of the Tombigbee” Tournament at Leroy High School: 15-25 and 19-25. Tournament ends for the Lady Tigers.

The THS Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team beat Southern Choctaw Aug. 23 at Jackson Middle School: 25-23 and 25-20. THS will next play at Leroy High School.

The THS Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team lost to Washington County Aug. 23 in the “Battle of the Tombigbee” Tournament at Jackson Middle School: 25-27 and 16-25.

The Thomasville High School Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team will begin the 2025 season participating today, Aug. 23 in the “Battle of the Tombigbee” tournament at Jackson Middle School. In Pool Play, THS will play Washington County at noon and Southern Choctaw at 2 p.m. before single elimination begins.

The Thomasville High School Tigers varsity football team lost 52-34 to Leroy Aug. 22 at D.F. Anderson Field.

Senior Tux/Drape photos will be taken on Monday, Aug. 25.

ATTENTION: tickets for tonight's THS varsity football game with Leroy are being sold in the THS Main Office until 2:45 p.m.
In addition, 2025 season tickets are still being sold until 2:45 p.m. today.

ATTENTION: the home THS Junior High football game with University Charter School, scheduled for Sept. 8, has been changed to Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. at D.F. Anderson Field.
