Special thanks to the THS cheerleaders, who brought the Tiger spirit during both championship basketball games this week. They had a major impact on pushing our girls and boys to victory. We hope to see them back for the sub-regionals next week.
Members of the THS varsity boys basketball team were named to the Class 3A, Area 5 All-Tournament Team: Joshua Pledger, K.J. Shamburger, Raynell Armstrong and Jacoby Holt.
The THS Tigers varsity boys basketball team beat Monroe County 51-41 Feb. 9 to win the Class 3A, Area 5 Championship in the THS gym. THS will host the state sub-regional game, either Feb. 13 or 14. More details later.
The THS Prom will be held March 18 in the Thomasville Civic Center.
There will be an umpire clinic exhibition with the THS and Sweet Water baseball teams at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the THS ball field.

A Daddy Daughter Dance for grades Pre-K to sixth, will be held at 4 p.m. on Feb. 25 in the TES gym. The event is sponsored by THS Soccer.
The Thomasville Elementary School "Little Miss" Beauty Review will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 in the Thomasville Civic Center. The event is sponsored by the TES PTO.
The Baseball Hit-A-Thon fundraiser for the THS and TMS programs will be held at 6 p.m. on Feb. 13 at the THS ball field. Contact a baseball coach or booster club member about sponsoring a player for the fundraiser.
The 2023 THS soccer season begins on the road on Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 at the OWA Soccer Complex in Foley.
