The Thomasville High School Tigers baseball program received a $12,632.78 grant for a turf project from the Clarke County Park and Recreation Board. James Boyett, director of bands with the Thomasville City Schools District, is working with fifth grade band students. These young people will hopefully be future members of the Mighty Tiger Marching Band.

The THS Tigers football program will host Washington County for a jamboree game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14 at D.F. Anderson Field. Come hungry and check out the football concessions.
