
The TMS girls basketball team lost 36-9 Nov. 14 at A.L. Johnson in Thomaston.

ATTENTION: Students will be dismissed early in the Thomasville City Schools District on Friday, Nov. 18. TES will be dismissed at 2 p.m., and TMS/THS will be dismissed at 2:15 p.m.
Buses will run regular routes.

Community Pep Rally and Bonfire in support of the THS Tigers varsity football team, 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 behind the THS softball field. Park in the softball parking lot. Bring blankets and chairs!
Also, there will be a playoff celebration and send off on Friday, Nov. 18 along Gates Drive and Quincy Ingram. Lineup is at 1 p.m., and the football team buses leave at 1:30 p.m.

ATTENTION: Because of the success of the THS varsity football team, the first date of the THS basketball schedule, Nov. 17 at Greenville, will be rescheduled.

The THS varsity football team will travel Friday, Nov. 18 to Montgomery to play the St. James High School Trojans at Carlisle Field for the third round of the Class 3A state playoffs.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The THS varsity football team beat Dadeville 15-14 in overtime Nov. 11 in the second round of the state playoffs in Dadeville.


The TMS boys basketball team beat Wilson Hall 43-35 Nov. 10 in the THS gym.

Thomasville High School has released the 2023 soccer schedule.


No classes on Nov. 11 in recognition of Veteran's Day.


The City of Thomasville has donated $40,000 to Thomasville High School for use with the basketball programs and the band program. The money will go toward renovation of the gym floor, ice machine for the gym concession stand, and needed supplies for the band program such as a new Drum Major podium, music stand cart and ponchos for band members.
The donation is a part of the continual partnership between the Thomasville City Schools District and the City of Thomasville.

Basketball update: the TMS boys basketball team will host Jackson for an in-school game on Tuesday, Nov. 8 in the THS gym. Jackson is a replacement opponent for Monroe Intermediate. NOTE: there will not be a girls game. There is only a boys game at 1 p.m.
