
The THS varsity football team lost 40-15 Nov. 18 at St. James School in Montgomery. Great season for the Tigers!

Sgt. William "Mac" McNair, School Resource Officer, has been chosen as the "Staff Member of the Year" at Thomasville High School for the 2022-2023 school year.


Katherine Sparks, history teacher, has been chosen as the "Teacher of the Year" at Thomasville High School for the 2022-2023 school year.


The TMS library has received a $500 donation from state Rep. Thomas Jackson. Pictured is LeAnn Pope Moore, library media specialist.


The next meeting of the Thomasville City Board of Education has been changed to 5 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the THS library. The public is invited.
A video of the meeting will be posted on the school website the day after the meeting.

The gate will open at 5:45 p.m.
All Thomasville fans will be asked to sit on the visiting side bleachers.
However, bathrooms and concessions are on the home side only.
Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the concession stand.
The campus map has parking instructions for fans.
The visiting fans will use the main entrance and park in the lots designated on the map provided.


The THS Lady Tigers basketball team will play Huntsville at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Makos Thanksgiving Classic at Orange Beach Middle and High School (23908 Canal Road).

The THS varsity football team will travel Friday, Nov. 18 to Montgomery to play the St. James School Trojans at Carlisle Field (6010 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, Ala. 36116) for the third round of the Class 3A state playoffs.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The TMS boys basketball team won 32-14 Nov. 14 at A.L. Johnson in Thomaston.

The TMS girls basketball team lost 36-9 Nov. 14 at A.L. Johnson in Thomaston.

ATTENTION: Students will be dismissed early in the Thomasville City Schools District on Friday, Nov. 18. TES will be dismissed at 2 p.m., and TMS/THS will be dismissed at 2:15 p.m.
Buses will run regular routes.

Community Pep Rally and Bonfire in support of the THS Tigers varsity football team, 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 behind the THS softball field. Park in the softball parking lot. Bring blankets and chairs!
Also, there will be a playoff celebration and send off on Friday, Nov. 18 along Gates Drive and Quincy Ingram. Lineup is at 1 p.m., and the football team buses leave at 1:30 p.m.
