The TMS Sports Banquet will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 21 in the Thomasville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
The 2023 THS Softball Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 1 in the Thomasville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

We working to have the THS graduation live streamed tonight, May 19, on the “Thomasville High School” Facebook page. The graduation ceremonies begin at 6:30 p.m.
The quality of the live stream will rely on the quality of the Wi-Fi at the Civic Center - so there may be some interruptions in the live stream.
ATTENTION: THS Graduation being moved indoors!
Due to the current field conditions plus the advice of weather professionals, the Thomasville High School graduation will take place at the Thomasville Civic Center. This decision has not been made lightly and we believe to be the best decision for all involved.
Students will report to the Civic Center at 5:30 p.m. as originally planned. We will meet in the large meeting room on the left side of the civic center. (prom dance room) All people entering the Civic Center must have a ticket.
NOTE: All graduation spectators will need a ticket for graduation. This includes infants. Nobody will enter the Civic Center without a ticket. Graduating seniors will not need a ticket. This is a fire code that MUST be followed.
Each graduate was given 7 tickets at graduation practice on Thursday, May 18. School officials triple checked with each student that they had 7 tickets. Lost tickets will not be replaced and extra tickets will not be given.
The doors to the civic center will be open at 5:45 p.m. on May 19. There are no assigned seats.
Parents of students, who attend Thomasville Elementary School, can have the final report card of the school year mailed to them. Please bring a self-addressed and stamped envelope to the TES office.
ATTENTION: Thomasville High School will hold graduation today, May 19, at 6:30 p.m. at D.F. Anderson Field.
In case of inclement weather, graduation will be moved to the Thomasville Civic Center. The public will be notified via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, the school system app, Remind, and SchoolStatus.
We will make every effort possible to have the event on D. F Anderson field, thus the final decision will be made after lunch on Friday.
If graduation is moved to the Civic Center:

There will be a mandatory parent meeting for THS boys basketball on Thursday, May 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the THS gym.
NOTE: the date is May 25.
FREE Athletic Physicals for all students grades 6-11 who plan to participate in athletics next school year are scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023, beginning at 2 p.m. at Thomasville Regional Medical Center.
Please pick up a form from the school office or the nurse, complete the front side, have student and parent sign (in INK), and return it to the school nurse at TMS/THS as soon as possible. All pre-physical assessments will need to be completed by the school nurse before going to the hospital to see the doctor.

"Students of the Month" for May 2023 at Thomasville Elementary School have been chosen: Chayse Harris, kindergarten; Mary Beth Fendley, pre-K; Emma Kate Pugh, fourth grade; Kayceton Rodriguez, first grade; Januari Blanks, third grade; and Aryana Swanson, second grade.
"Students of the Month" for April 2023 at Thomasville Elementary School have been chosen: Somer Tucker, kindergarten; Kalaysia Leach, third grade; Kelis Hayes, pre-K; Hailey Norwood, second grade; Eli Culpepper, first grade; and Andraz Thomas, fourth grade.
ATTENTION: there will be a meeting for parents and players of sixth and seventh graders, who are interested in playing football on Thursday, May 18 at 5 p.m. in the Thomasville Middle School cafeteria. The meeting is also for basketball players and parents for the upcoming school year in regards to summer workouts, remind me app and booster clubs.
The TMS PTSO will need new officers for 23-24. Call the school office at 636-4928 if interested.
