The officers from the Thomasville High School chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for 22-23 have been announced: Alaina Bohannon, treasurer; Luke Stephens, reporter; Katherine Ledkins, secretary; Zoe Parten, vice president; and Marli Davis, president.
The National Technical Honor Society is an educational non-profit that exists to honor, recognize, and empower students and teachers in Career and Technical Education.

Due to Halloween activities Monday night, the THS softball booster club meeting will be moved to Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the THS library.
THS Beauty Review will be held at 7 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2023, at the Thomasville Civic Center.

An area career tech advisory meeting was held Oct. 26 at Thomasville High School. Charlotte Aguiar, a third grade student at Thomasville Elementary School, was the winner of the Red Ribbon Week contest to guess how much candy corn was in a container. There was 909 pieces in the container; her guess was 905. Wow!

The THS Tigers varsity football team won 31-6 Oct. 27 at Clarke County in Grove Hill. Game was called at the start of the fourth quarter because lights went out in half the stadium.

The Thomasville High School Tigers varsity football team will host the Straughn High School Tigers of Andalusia in the first round of the state playoffs at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4 at D.F. Anderson Field. NOTE: Tickets for the playoff game are available only from gofan.co.
A flower arrangement has been donated to Thomasville High School by the Thomasville Research Club.
