Attention - THS fall athletes: turn in your money for parents' or guests' meals today, Jan. 31, to your coaches for the Feb. 3 sports banquet. Meal tickets will be sent home with athletes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Each person will present these before they get their meal Thursday night at the banquet.
Updates on area basketball tournaments:
• THS girls will play the winner of Excel and Monroe County at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9 for the area championship in the THS gym.
• THS varsity boys will play Excel at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at Excel. If THS wins, they will play Monroe County at 6 p.m. on Feb. 10 for the area championship in Monroeville.
The THS junior varsity boys basketball team beat Monroe County 41-40 Jan. 28 in the THS gym.
The THS girls basketball team beat Monroe County 51-23 Jan. 28 in the THS gym.

ATTENTION - THS basketball games added: the THS basketball teams will travel Monday, Jan. 31 to Sweet Water High School. The JV boys game will start at 5 p.m.
There will be a THS baseball Diamond Club meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 27 in the school library.
A Thomasville High School softball clinic is planned for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Nathan Stephens Sports Complex. Cost is $30 per person. Players in grades 1 to 6 are invited.

There is an interest meeting for THS track at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1 in the THS cafeteria. Students in grades 8 to 12 are invited.
The THS basketball teams host area opponent Monroe County on Friday, Jan. 28 in the THS gym. NOTE: the JV boys game will begin at 4:30 p.m. The "Senior Night" ceremony will be held after the JV game.

Reminder: students in Head Start, Pre-K, first through fourth grade students at TES are invited to wear BRIGHT colors on Friday, Jan. 28 to celebrate 100 days of school.
Kindergarten students will dress like 100-years-old.

ATTENTION - wrestling venue change again: The THS wrestling team will travel today, Jan. 21 to Brewton for a 5 p.m. region tri-match with T.R. Miller. The event will now be held in the high school gym. Tickets will be available at the door.
ATTENTION - more changes to the THS basketball schedule: the two games with Choctaw County (Jan. 25 and 31) have been cancelled. "Senior Night" will now be held on Friday, Jan. 28 vs. Monroe County.
