The THS Tigers varsity boys basketball team lost 94-29 to Southside Selma in the area tournament in Selma. Season ends for the Tigers.
The Thomasville High School Lady Tigers softball program will host the annual Jan Overstreet Tournament Feb. 14 and 15 at the Nathan Stephens Sports Complex.
THS begins play vs. Sweet Water at 4 p.m. on Friday.
The ceremony honoring cancer survivors will be held after the first two games on Saturday.

Due to the high number of contestants, ticket sales for the TES Beauty Review will be limited to six (6) tickets per contestant. Tickets will go on sale beginning Monday, Feb. 3, 2025 at the Thomasville Civic Center.
The THS Lady Tigers basketball team will play in the Class 3A, Area 4 tournament championship game at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at Wilcox Central High School in Camden. THS will play the winner of the Wilcox-Southside Selma game.
THS Girls and Boys Wrestling Camp, 3 p.m. on Feb. 3 and 4 in the middle school gym. Camp is for grades 3 to 7. Sign up at drop off - $20.
THS Football Banquet, 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30 in the Thomasville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Admission at the door is $18. Tickets are available in the THS office.

The THS Tigers wrestling team will travel Tuesday, Jan. 28 to American Christian Academy in Tuscaloosa to compete with ACA and Oak Grove. The meet will start at 6 p.m.
