The next meeting of the Thomasville City Board of Education will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28 in the Thomasville High School Library.
There will also be a board Work Session at 4 p.m.

Emma Pilkington, 2024 Top THS Beauty, took her final walk Jan. 18 on the Civic Center stage.
JaTerianna Smith was crowned Jan. 18 as the Thomasville High School Top Beauty 2025 by the 2024 THS Top Beauty Emma Pilkington. The Beauty Review was held in the Thomasville Civic Center.
Ty Averitt and Mardie Carpenter were selected Jan. 18 as Mr. Thomisana and Miss Thomisana at the THS Beauty Review in the Thomasville Civic Center.
The Thomasville High School Beauty Review court 2025 includes India Ward, Third Alternate and Miss Congeniality; Mardie Carpenter, First Alternate and Miss Thomisana; JaTerianna Smith, Top THS Beauty; Angel Johnson, Second Alternate; and Addyson Webb, Fourth Alternate.
UPDATE: the THS basketball games at Southside Selma have been moved to Saturday, Jan. 25. There will be no JV boys game. The girls game will begin at noon.
