The THS JV boys basketball team lost 41-23 Jan. 20 at Monroe County in Monroeville.

100 days of school at Thomasville Elementary School will be celebrated Jan. 24.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Thomasville City Board of Education will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24 in the Thomasville Civic Center. The meeting will take place before the 6 p.m. Thomasville High School mid-year graduation, also in the Civic Center.

Adopt a Senior for THS basketball Senior Night on Jan. 30.

There will be a TES PTO meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the school cafeteria.

The THS basketball teams will travel Friday, Jan. 20 to Monroeville to play area opponent Monroe County. JV boys game will begin at 4:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door, and cash is accepted.

Luke Stephens (second from right), a senior at Thomasville High School, serves as a Clarke County 4-H Club member and State 4-H Ambassador President. He got to spend the day Jan. 16 in Montgomery and participate in the Governor Kay Ivey’s Inaugural Parade. Luke walked with the float of Agriculture Commissioner Rick Pate, and got to meet U.S. Senator Katie Britt.
