The THS Tigers wrestling team will travel today, Jan. 5, to Oak Grove High School (9494 Oak Grove Pkwy) in Bessemer for Region Championship Duals. Weigh in at 11 a.m. Event starts at 1 p.m.

The THS varsity boys basketball team lost 56-50 Dec. 30 at Clarke County High School in Grove Hill.

The THS Lady Tigers basketball team lost 51-17 Dec. 30 at Clarke County High School in Grove Hill.

The THS JV boys basketball team lost 52-20 Dec. 30 at Clarke County High School in Grove Hill.

The THS Tigers wrestling team will travel Jan. 2 and 3 to Vancleave High School, 12424 Highway 57, in Mississippi for the "Bulldog Brawl." Weigh in at 3 p.m. on Friday.

JaKyra Chapman and Jazlyn Morrissette, members of the Thomasville High School chapter of HOSA-Future Health Professionals, delivered candy and Christmas cards to the residents at Crown Health Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Facility as part of Operation Christmas Joy.

The THS Tigers varsity boys basketball team beat Linden 53-48 Dec. 15 in the THS gym.

The THS Lady Tigers basketball team defeated Linden 67-31 Dec. 15 in the THS gym.

The THS JV boys basketball team beat Linden 34-29 Dec. 15 in the THS gym.

Dec. 18 is Professional Development Day for employees in the Thomasville City Schools District (no classes for students). Christmasholidays begin Dec. 19. Students return to class on Jan. 7, 2026.
