The THS Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team won Sept. 4 at Clarke County High School in Grove Hill: 25-6, 25-20 and 25-4.

The THS JV volleyball team won Sept. 4 at Clarke County in Grove Hill: 25-8 and 25-15.

The Thomasville High School Tigers varsity football team will travel Friday, Sept. 5 to play Class 3A, Region 3 opponent, the Southside Selma High School Panthers, in Panther Stadium (7975 Highway 80 East in Selma). THS SGA officers for 25-26

Savannah Pugh, Lauryn Means and Ella Tucker, fourth grade students at Thomasville Elementary School, have received "Positive Office Referrals" for using their time wisely in the classroom. All three students are from teacher Wendy Martin's class, and they are pictured with John Sheffield, TES Assistant Principal.

The THS Lady Tigers junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams will travel Thursday, Sept. 4 to play Clarke County High School in Grove Hill. The JV game begins at 4 p.m.

ATTENTION: TMS students are not allowed to wear pajamas on Friday. The theme Friday at TMS will be wearing your favorite college/pro team colors or jersey. Students will also be allowed to wear crocs on Friday.

The next meeting of the Thomasville City Board of Education will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9 in the Thomasville High School Library. The meeting will include the second of two public hearings on the Fiscal Year 2026 budget.
The meeting is open to the public.

All TCS students can be vaccinated against the flu at no cost to you!
HNH Immunizations Inc. is holding a Flu Vaccine Clinic at all schools in the Thomasville City Schools district on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025. Consent forms are being sent home. Please complete the form and return to the school if you wish for your student to be vaccinated against influenza. This is voluntary and your student will not be vaccinated without the consent form. (This excludes students covered under PEEHIP insurance.)
NOTE: clinic does not include Pre-K students.
