THS Lady Tigers basketball team is raffling off a Big Mike’s Gift Card for $5. All proceeds will go to help the girls with Travel to the elite 8.

The THS Lady Tigers beat Monroe County 48-35 Feb. 18 at the South Regional Tournament in Montgomery. THS will next play at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24 in Montgomery.

The annual Black History Program will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20 in the THS gym. The guest speaker will be G. B. Quinney, director of the A.L. Martin Historical Museum.

Charles Burge (center), School Resource Officer, was honored for his effort to make the employees and students safe at Thomasville Elementary School. The next meeting of the Thomasville City Board of Education will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24 in the Thomasville High School Library. The public is invited.

TES Beauty Pageant, 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21 in the Thomasville Civic Center.

The Thomasville High School Tigers Football Banquet will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17 in the Thomasville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
