The Thomasville High School Lady Tigers basketball team and coaches prayed with the Bayside Academy Lady Admirals team and coaches Feb. 13 after the sub-regional game.
The THS Lady Tigers defeated Bayside Academy 45-35 Feb. 13 to win the state sub-regional in the THS gym. THS will next play Wednesday, Feb. 18 in the regional tournament at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery. Info on game time later. Also, thank you to the support from the great THS cheerleaders.

"Read Across America" will be celebrated March 2-6 at Thomasville Elementary School. The theme this year is "American Poetry."
The Book Fair will also be held that week in the TES Library.

There will be a $2 Valentines Day dress out for TMS students on Friday, Feb. 13: students can anything with hearts on it; socks, hairbows, shirts, or pants. Must be school appropriate; no tips, holes or tears in pants. No pajamas.
ATTENTION - TMS and THS cheer candidates: the paperwork packet and $10 are due Friday, Feb. 13. The physical must be turned in by the first day of clinic, Feb. 23.

Joe Joiner, Installation Manager with Clarke Air Company in Grove Hill, was the guest speaker Feb. 11 for students at Thomasville High School, who may be interested in electrical engineering. Joiner is a THS graduate and also has had experience in the Pulp and Paper industry. Joiner's talk was part of the "Career Connect' series organized by THS Career Coach Chelsea Doggett.
There will be no classes on Monday, Feb. 16 in the Thomasville City Schools District in recognition of Presidents Day.
