Vickie Morris, Thomasville City School Superintendent, met with the Thomasville Elementary School Student Advisory Committee on Sept. 23 in the school conference room. Morris said meeting with students is her favorite activity.

Statement from Thomasville City Schools:
It is with heartfelt sympathy that Thomasville City Schools extends our deepest condolences to the students, faculty, and families of Clarke Preparatory School following the tragic loss of one of their students.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Clarke Prep community during this incredibly difficult time. While we are separate school systems, we are united in our care for the young people in our community. The loss of a student is felt far beyond the walls of a single school—it touches all of us who work in education and all who care about children.
We stand in support of Clarke Preparatory School and offer any assistance that may bring comfort or strength in the days ahead. May we all come together to uplift one another in compassion, healing, and hope.
