"Students of the Month" have been chosen for February 2025 at Thomasville High School: Azariah Blackmon and Cheyenne Sheppard, Ninth Grade; Alexis Harvell, 10th Grade; Madison Morris, 11th Grade; and Ashli Pritchett, 12th Grade.


Vickie Charleston, sponsor, and 11th grade student Kenmora Pettway of the Thomasville High School chapter of HOSA-Future Health Professionals attended Feb. 27 and 28 the State Leadership Conference in Montgomery.
Pettway participated in many workshops and made numerous friends at the conference. She also participated in some hands-on exhibits. There were also representatives from various colleges and universities with information regarding their academics/programs. Her future goal is to become a Pharmacist.
Pettway competed in the Medical Terminology category. In this competition, only 75 students from the state of Alabama were allowed to compete. She represented THS well and placed as a Top 6 Finalist.
Being in the Top 6 would possibly mean she would have an opportunity to attend the International Leadership Conference in June.
THS was represented well in academics…GO TIGERS!!!

The JV softball game with Leroy at Thomasville Thursday, March 6 ended in a 7-7 tie at Jan Overstreet Field.

The THS varsity and JV softball teams will travel Friday, March 7 to Chatom to play Washington County. NOTE: the varsity will play first at 4:30 p.m. with the JV game following.

Students at Thomasville Elementary School are finding treasures at the Book Fair in the school library. Today, March 6, there are special hours after school for family shopping, 4:30 to 6 p.m.
