The 2024 Thomasville High School Beauty Review was held March 2 in the Thomasville Civic Center. Winners include Kennedy Rice, Third Runner-up; Dakyiah McDaniel, First Runner-up; Emma Pilkington, Top Beauty and Miss Congeniality; Caniya Burroughs, Second Runner-up; and Maura Kate Morris, Fourth Runner-up.

Maura Kate Morris and Jakobie Johnson were chosen as Miss and Mr. Thomisana March 2 at the Thomasville High School Beauty Review in the Thomasville Civic Center.

The THS varsity softball team lost 14-3 to T.R. Miller March 2 in the championship game of the Miller Invitational in Brewton.

The THS varsity softball team beat McGill-Toolen again 11-1 March 2 at the T.R. Miller Invitational in Brewton. Championship game is next.

UPDATE - AGAIN: T.R. Miller varsity softball Invitational has been changed to one-day event, Saturday, March 2 in Brewton. THS plays Excel at 12:30 p.m.; and plays Sweet Water at 2 p.m. at the YMCA complex.

Winners in the Third and Fourth Grades Division: Emma Anderson, Fourth Runner-up; Paisley Jordan, First Runner-up; Lilyana Harper, Top Beauty; Kinsley Adams, Second Runner-up; and Rayleigh Powell, Third Runner-up.

ATTENTION: The TMS Tigers baseball team home games, scheduled for Saturday, March 2, have been cancelled.

The THS soccer home game tonight, March 1, with Mobile Christian, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.

The THS varsity baseball team beat Paxton of Fla. 5-2 Feb. 29 in Andalusia.

The THS soccer team lost 10-0 Feb. 29 at UMS-Wright in Mobile.

The THS JV softball team beat University Charter School 12-3 Feb. 29 in the second game at Jan Overstreet Field.

The TMS Tigers baseball team won 9-5 Feb. 29 at Demopolis. Only one game was played.

The THS varsity baseball team won 13-6 Feb. 29 at Andalusia.

The Pre-K program at Thomasville Elementary School will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday, March 27. Pre-K students are allowed to dress out in Spring attire.

Pre-K students will be dismissed early at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15 at Thomasville Elementary School. This is to allow them to attend Kindergarten registration. Also on this date, Pre-K are wearing green for St. Patrick's Day.
