
The THS Lady Tigers basketball team won 54-39 Dec. 20 at Leroy High School.

The three THS basketball teams will travel today, Dec. 20, to play at Leroy High School. The JV boys game begins at 4:30 p.m.

There will be no classes in the Thomasville City Schools District from Dec. 21 to Jan. 4, 2023. Students return on Jan. 5.


The THS varsity boys basketball team beat Clarke County 59-48 Dec. 19 in the THS gym.

The Thomasville High School chapters of the National Technical Honor Society, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and the National Honor Society sponsored a canned food drive for the Thomasville Salvation Army.

Celie McGilberry and Chulynna Nguyen, members of the Thomasville High School yearbook staff, rang the bell Dec. 15 for the Salvation Army at Walmart.


RaMyya Johnson and Jaden Robinson, members of the Thomasville High School chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta math honorary, rang the bell Dec. 15 for the Salvation Army at Walmart.


The HOSA and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) chapters at Thomasville High School collected and donated a few toys for children with the Department of Health and Human Services. HOSA (Future Health Professionals) has been participating with this effort for the last couple of years. This is one of the special community service projects by HOSA. The chapter's goal, especially this month, is to make some child/children have a Merry Christmas. Elizabeth McGilberry (left) is a member of HOSA, and Mrs. Vickie Charleston is the advisor.
