The THS varsity softball team will host Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20 at Jan Overstreet Field. NOTE: A senior recognition ceremony will be held shortly before the first pitch.
The THS varsity baseball team will host New Brockton in the first round of the state playoffs at 5 and 7:30 on Friday, April 22, and 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, if necessary, at the THS ball field.

UPDATE - 6:02 on 4-14: Interviews of the candidates for Thomasville City School Superintendent have concluded.
Only three interviews were conducted: Vickie Morris of Thomasville, Dr. Kalvin Eaton of Northport and Tony L. Clower of Kingston, Tenn.
Candidate Anthony J. Buckner of Scottsboro notified the board Monday, April 11, that he would not participate in the interviews.
Candidate Christopher Cook of Winfield will not be interviewed because he accepted another position.
There is no set date for when the school board will make a decision.
