The THS Tigers varsity boys basketball team won 67-39 Dec. 4 at Linden High School.

Cyleigh Ross (right), an eighth grade student at Thomasville Middle School, won second prize in an ALFA essay contest. Natasha Griffin, Ross' English Language Arts teacher, encouraged the student to enter the contest, and Griffin received $25 for her classroom.

The THS JV boys, Lady Tigers and varsity boys basketball teams will travel Wednesday, Dec. 4 to play at Linden High School. The JV boys game begins at 4:30 p.m.
