The THS Lady Tigers basketball team defeated Linden 67-31 Dec. 15 in the THS gym.

The THS JV boys basketball team beat Linden 34-29 Dec. 15 in the THS gym.

Dec. 18 is Professional Development Day for employees in the Thomasville City Schools District (no classes for students). Christmasholidays begin Dec. 19. Students return to class on Jan. 7, 2026.

The THS varsity boys basketball team lost 84-23 Dec. 13 at Jackson High School.

The THS varsity girls basketball team lost 47-17 Dec. 13 at Jackson High School.

The THS Tigers JV boys basketball team lost 63-20 Dec. 13 at Jackson High School.

There will be early release in the Thomasville City Schools District on Monday, Dec. 15 through Wednesday, Dec. 17: 11:45 a.m. at TES; and noon at TMS/THS.

The Thomasville City Schools Band Christmas Concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11 in the Thomasville Civic Center. Admission is $5. The Fifth Grade Beginning Band, Sixth Grade Intermediate Band and the THS Band will perform.

Pretzel orders for the THS FBLA fundraiser will be delivered Dec. 16.

UPDATE: the Cookie Dough deliveries have arrived today, Dec. 11 at TES. You can come by from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. and pick them up.

The THS Tigers wrestling team will travel Thursday, Dec. 11 to Uriah, Ala. to face J.U. Blacksher and Mary G. Montgomery at Blacksher High School. Weigh in is at 4 p.m. Meet will start at 5 p.m.
