A group of thirty-five Accelerated Reader top-achievers for the first semester were treated to Top Golf today in Mobile. Library staff and school administrators work hard to provide reading incentives for students. Thank you for buying ferns, supporting book fairs, and donating to the TMS library each year.

"Students of the Month" have been selected for January 2026 at Thomasville High School: John Wilkerson, Ninth Grade; Aryana Burroughs, 10th Grade; Linus Abrams, 11th Grade; and Yahia Yahya, 12th Grade.

Adam Elliott (left) has been chosen as the "Staff Member of the Month" for January 2026 at Thomasville High School. Elliott serves as an assistant football and softball coach, co-Athletic Director as well as the Safety and Family/Community Outreach Coordinator for the Thomasville City Schools District.

The THS varsity boys basketball team lost 82-35 Jan. 14 at Wilcox Central.

The THS Lady Tigers basketball team won 58-29 Jan. 14 at Wilcox Central in Camden.

The THS Tigers wrestling team will host American Christian Academy of Tuscaloosa and Satsuma on Wednesday, Jan. 21 in the THS gym.

The THS volleyball banquet will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15 in the school cafeteria. $10 admission for the public.
