TES Book Fair Nov. 3-7

Fifth and sixth grade students at Thomasville Middle School were given the opportunity to participate in the Red Ribbon Week coloring contest. Winners are Callie Phillips, Kyleigh Motes, Gabrielle Mosely, Lily Parnell, Henleigh Rush, and Kaylani Campbell. They are pictured with Brad Elam, TMS Principal; and Renae Williams, TMS Assistant Principal.

The TMS Tigers boys basketball team lost 36-26 to Wilson Hall Oct. 28 in the Clarke County High School gym.
The TMS Tigers football team won 30-14 Oct. 28 at Washington County in Chatom.
The TMS girls basketball team lost 27-8 to Wilson Hall Oct. 28 in the Clarke County High School gym.
Three dual enrollment students from Thomasville High School received certifications in Skid Steer operations through the Skills For Success Program at Coastal Alabama Community College. The students completed an online course in Skid Steer safety and operations. After that, they completed a two-day lab where they worked on a skid steer to show their skills.

The TMS library received a $500 donation from the Clarke County Education Retirees Association. Mrs. Dorothy Jackson presented the check.

Fifth Grade - Orange; Sixth Grade - Green; Seventh Grade - Purple; and Eighth Grade - Black.

TMS and TES students can wear a Red shirt on Wednesday, Oct. 29 in recognition of Red Ribbon Week. Students must wear school uniform pants and shoes.

ATTENTION: The TCS Jr. High Tigers football game at Washington County has been moved to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28 in Chatom.

The TMS girls and boys basketball teams will travel Tuesday, Oct. 28 to play Wilson Hall in the Clarke County High School gym in Grove Hill. The girls game begins at 5 p.m.

The next meeting of the Thomasville City Board of Education will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28 in the Thomasville High School Library. The public is invited.
