The next meeting of the Thomasville City Board of Education will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9 in the Thomasville High School Library. The meeting will include the second of two public hearings on the Fiscal Year 2026 budget.

The THS Lady Tigers junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams will travel Thursday, Sept. 4 to play Clarke County High School in Grove Hill. The JV game begins at 4 p.m.

The Thomasville High School Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team won the Bobby Davis Invitational championship in Demopolis, beating University Charter School: 25-14 and 25-18.
The THS Lady Tigers varsity volleyball team beat Demopolis Aug. 30 at the Bobby Davis Invitational in Demopolis: 25-18, 24-26 and 15-8. THS will play University Charter School in the championship game.
