The Thomasville City Schools District has been celebrating "School Breakfast Week." The school system offers free breakfast for all students each school day. The Child Nutrition Program Staff at Thomasville High School includes Ashley Biggs, Melba Fuller, Leannettia Washington, Shambria Holt and Gachel Martin (THS CNP Manager).

Dr. Charlotte Parker (fourth from right - standing), assistant principal at Thomasville High School, successfully defended her final defense in the completion of her Education Doctorate at Liberty University and has been approved for publication. Her degree will be conferred this May. Members of the THS faculty and staff surprised her March 10 with a tribute.

"Students of the Month" for February 2023 at Thomasville Elementary School have been chosen: Aubree Cowan, kindergarten; Tikeria Williams, Pre-K; Kinsley Adams, third grade; Je'Da Marzette, first grade; Carter Hall, second grade; and Jack Lewis, fourth grade.

Brandy Jones Nichols recently took the position of Behavior Intervention Specialist with the Thomasville City Schools District. She previously served as a Parent Liaison at Thomasville Middle School. In January 2023, she received her second Masters, a Master of Science degree in Human Services from Walden University. She also holds a Master of Science in Continuing Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of West Alabama (2006). Nichols is currently working on her dissertation to complete a PhD in Human Services with a concentration on Family Studies and Intervention at Walden University.

The THS varsity softball team beat Jackson 9-4 March 10 at the Tombigbee Tournament at Leroy High School. THS will next play St. Paul's at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 11 at Leroy High. Tickets will be sold at the gate, and cash will be accepted.

The THS varsity softball team will participate Friday, March 10 and Saturday, March 11 in the annual Tombigbee Tournament at Leroy High School. The Lady Tigers will play Jackson at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 10, and THS will play St. Paul's at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 11. Elimination games should begin Saturday at approximately 1 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the gate, and cash will be accepted.

The THS varsity baseball team won 15-1 March 9 at Washington County High School in Chatom.

The TMS baseball team lost 3-2 to Excel in the first game March 9 at the THS ball field.

The THS JV baseball team won 15-0 March 9 at Washington County in Chatom.
